Our first Stick Together poster of the new school year!  It looks great!  Thanks to all the students for coming in and helping to create this image.  Stay tuned for the next poster.  While you're waiting, we have two puzzles being worked on in the library and two stations for mindful coloring.  Stop by and check it out.  Remember you need your ID to enter.

Have you ever done Hour of Code?  I love it!  It's a lot of fun and it's coming up again. So complete an hour of code activity.  Show it to me on your phone by taking a picture of when you're done or print the certificate and get a goodie bag with a CODE button.  Come to the library to participate in Hour of Code from December 6 -12 or try it at home.  

NEW Resource that looks GREAT!  EBSCO has a career guide that also includes resources for scholarship, writing resume, looking for occupations that suit you and schools that you might be interested in.  You will need to create an account with your email and a password to save your progress and information.  See Mrs. Domion in the library for help.

Some info about me, in case you wanted to know :)

So I dropped my daughter off at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.  It was our first trip to Indiana. We did the last minute shopping for her dorm and when it was time to say goodbye, I wasn't prepared.  I parked the car outside of her dorm thinking I would get out and have a tearful goodbye.  Instead, she reached over to me in the car, gave me a hug, said "I love you Mom" and was out the door before I knew it.  My response was "Don't tell me you forgot something."  Then I cried driving back to the inn I was staying at.  The next day I hopped on the plane and came back to Hawaii.
